Condition & logistics
Running vs. Non-Running
Whether your truck is running like a champ or has been parked for ages, it still qualifies for donation. We embrace all conditions, and that includes vehicles with high mileage. Every truck has value!
Title Issues
Worried about title issues? Fear not! We handle the paperwork for you. Even if your truck's title has seen better days, we’ve got it covered to ensure a smooth transfer.
Storage and Pickup Logistics
Don’t stress about where your truck is parked. We offer convenient pickup options, so whether it's at your home or a nearby facility, we’ll arrange a time that works for you.
Title transfer & paperwork
In Michigan, transferring the title of your truck is straightforward. You’ll need to complete the Michigan Title Application form (TR-11L) and return your plates to the Secretary of State. Notarization is not required, but having your paperwork in order helps speed things along. We’ll guide you through this process, ensuring every I is dotted and T crossed, so you can rest easy knowing everything is legal and legitimate.
Tax deduction for this donation
When you donate your truck, you typically qualify for a tax deduction between $500 and the vehicle’s final sale price. Just be sure to keep a copy of IRS Form 1098-C for your records. We’ll provide this form to you after the sale, so you can claim your deduction come tax time.
Local context — Michigan
Trucks in Michigan come from diverse backgrounds—small business owners, families relocating, and retirees downsizing their lives. The good ol' Midwest often sees these vehicles changing hands due to life transitions like divorce or downsizing. With an active commercial scene and many outdoor adventures waiting at places like Traverse City or the thousands of miles of trails, it’s no wonder that trucks are in high demand around here. Michiganders understand that every vehicle has a story, and we’re committed to ensuring that story continues to help our community.
